ROLE
Lead Systems Architect & Product Designer
Led end-to-end product design for an enterprise platform enabling 1,500+ insurance agents to build and manage their own websites without technical support, and allowing NYL corporate to review these websites under compliance requirements. Defined the core information architecture, designed intuitive self-serve workflows for non-technical users, and collaborated with C-level stakeholders to align product strategy from discovery through MVP launch.
PROBLEM
Agents want to feel like they have freedom to customize their branding and websites while still being complaint. New York Life Insurance wants to be able to easily provide their agents with the tools to stay compliant and check if their edits are compliant, while also giving them the freedom to differentiate their brands.
IMPACT/SOLUTION
A Web Builder and CMS platform that allows NYL to provide agents with content, themes, and templates that agents can use to create their own websites, and the ability for NYL corporate to review each website change as they’re saved and submitted. Successfully migrated 1,500 websites to the new platform, empowering agents to independently manage their digital presence while maintaining brand consistency and compliance standards.
