Led UX strategy for Robroy’s internal AI platform, serving their sales teams. I designed guided workflows that navigate 1,000+ product SKUs which significantly improved lookup efficiency. Collaborated with developers to create intuitive conversation patterns for AI-generated product recommendations, making complex catalog navigation accessible and valuable to sales associates.
PROBLEM
Sales teams need to sift through extensive product catalogs and review every order request thoroughly with the client before approving an order for fulfillment. This phase can sometimes take weeks because sales associates need to manually look through product catalogs, reference their specifications, confirm they fulfill all the needs for their client (size, conditions, material, etc), and continuously communicate with the client.
IMPACT/SOLUTION
Dramatically reduced time spent searching for products, enabling sales teams to provide faster, more accurate recommendations to customers while leveraging AI capabilities without technical expertise.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
User and system flow design for AI-assisted product lookup, guided workflow patterns, recommendation interface design, collaboration with development team on AI recommendation engine specifications.
